Whats the best way to get your foot in the door as a cannabis chef?
I would love to hear stories from the community on how your got your foot in the door!
My story is simple. Provide free services to anyone in the industry who would give you a chance. After locking in a couple of non paid consulting and recipe development I was able to add that to my resume and that is what enabled me to start locking in paying clients. The key is be flexible, offer a unique skill set, be positive and most of all be patient! This is a quickly growing industry and if there is not an opportunity for you today rest assured there will be one tomorrow!
In the coming months the Cannabis Chefs Association hopes to rollout a unique certification program that will enable chefs to hold a certification providing verification of their cannabis specific skill set. Stay tuned!!
